Cooper Education provides targeted tuition for your child. I provide support for those that need their confidence building and for those wanting help realising their full potential. I can help with homework, revision, reviewing work done in the classroom, extending them if necessary and developing their love for learning.
Tuition covers all Primary School subjects, especially English, Maths and Science, 11+ exam preparation and practice and covers years 3 - 6. Some of our local schools that have an 11+ Entrance Exam requirement include Skipton Girls’ High School and Ermysted’s Grammar School.
One-to-one tuition at your home provides a personalised, supportive approach delivered by a professional and experienced teacher. Dr Cooper covers areas around Skipton, Crosshills, Silsden and Keighley.
I will initially carry out a free assessment to determine your child’s strengths and areas that require further development. Upon completion of the assessment, the results are discussed together so you are fully involved in the process. It also enables you and your child to meet and get to know me and for us to chat through any specific requirements.
Tutor really good, explains problems fully and is not afraid to change lesson plan to suit pupil's learning when required. She had a schedule to cover maths and English but it became apparent verbal reasoning was more of an issue so adapted her plans straightway.
Carole has taken the time to understand our son and connect with him, he is developing really well and the pace of work is set right to him, them is no expectations for him to do anything quicker or differently.
Carole gave my son a problem to work at and then asked him to explain how he got to the solution, although it was a different method there was no expectation for him to change how he had been taught, and he was excited to be able to show her something he knew.
